Happy New Year!
I know we are 5 days into it now but, this is how I have entered 2010.
VERY SLOWLY… It seems God is doing some amazing things in me and in my life. Can I tell you that amazing doesn’t always feel good? Many of my current circumstances are difficult. I would not have chosen them.
BUT in 2010 I am striving to see God in new ways. That is my heart’s desire and my constant prayer. I want more of Him and to experience the hand of a Big God in my life. That leaves me here:
Slow to write to you on the blog
Slow to face the mundane tasks of my day
Entering 2010 with some pretty bad (oh sorry) amazing battles to fight
In the process I am also here:
Reading the Bible in One Year
Praying Like I have Never Prayed before
Seeing God be Provider (My husband’s pay is a limited resource)
Seeing God be Healer. (Some things come only by prayer and fasting)
Experiencing the blessings of immediate obedience.
Seeing a bigger picture of the Body of Christ. (Ministry really does happen on Twitter) and…
Loving the Lord more and more each day!

- I am an ordinary woman who wondered how God could use me. My parents divorced and I grew up without my earthly father. I was surrounded by so much love that I never considered myself a young girl looking for it. At fifteen I met Stuart. He was everything I hoped for and more. At twenty three we married and I committed our marriage to the Lord. After four years of living without following God's principals, I had made Stuart my idol. I loved him more than God. We separated for seven years and then divorced. During those years the Lord taught me His plan for marriage and how to pursue holiness in it. Once I desired to walk in His ways, He gave me the desire of my heart. Stuart and I remarried! Now I love Stuart more and more because I love Jesus more and more. My heart is for marriage and the wives who work hard to stay in them. Now I wonder and chuckle...Is anything too hard for God?

Hey girl! So glad to see a new post! I seem to be banging into the New Year, yet at the same time, it's like a SLOW bang.lol If that makes any sense to you.
ReplyDeleteGod is really pricking my heart with some things and getting me to surrender to Him in a new way. It is so hard, yet I know in the end... it will be so worth it.
With God many things don't seem to make sense but as long as I am moving forward in Him I am fine. Go for it and see what He has in store for you!
